40% - reflects adventures spirit orientation while 60% is represented by “the truth seekers” viewers. Personally, I found myself in the “The pianist” area movies consumers: true, revealing and most of all, unforgettable.
Is it just a broadcasted violence the real consequence of our living status? Frankly, I disagree. There are plenty cases of domestic violence in this world, when civilization and Hollywood’s “mass spread” didn’t reach it yet. We are living on two dangerous extremities: one side of the world’s freedom expression is restricted up to the nonsense, while the other, Rambo leads the virtual world by wearing glasses “nerds”. Totally agree with the fact that "consumers can and should influence the content of movies". And they can do that by being fully aware of what is reflected on the screen, in fact is only a creation of ONE man's vision. Just like driving a car. Do we let ourselves drive by its engine or is it us fully warned over the steering weal? The movie can only give you a perspective of the “what if” point of you. Most of the time, a scenario is written on REALLITY plot. I even read at some point that Hollywood biggest house productions were run out of negative characters. In time, they exploited till saturation all the “hot subjects” as natural calamities, wars, aliens, politic, drugs. So, eventually entertainment, take its ideas out of our daily life events. Our duty, as consumers is to select what they put on market, filtrate through our own judgment system and reflect over those things which rise up at the end of the movie. By taking attitude and resuscitate the characters and their actions can only place us back on the script, so back on the real issue. The result would only prolong a REAL frustration. Instead, use the spell as a “comparing therapy” – “Feeling down and think that your problems are toughest? Take “a trip” to ER!” This is how it works for me productions of Roman Polanski, Martin Scorsese, James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, Woody Alan and Francis Ford Coppola. Because as touching is the biography of Władysław Szpilman (The Pianist), as memorably Oscar Schindler’s history or as dramatically Corleone clans destiny (The Godfather), they said the best on screen. Only!
